All the fires, the fire.

 AS A MODERN FEMALE «PROMETHEUS», THE ARTIST OF GREEK ORIGIN PAINTS AND GIVES THE VITAL FIRE THAT FLAPS AND FLAMES IN ALL HUMAN LIFE.

 

Paints the light, the colour, the flame and the flowing of life.  It is the robbery of the mythical fire of the Gods to light up the man –  dark and darken – at the pollutions of their soul, what the artist Daphne Anastassiou gives to the spectators of her art.

 

She is the female «Prometheus» promising the duty and the right to the inner fire of every child, woman or man in this earth.  Some of her messianic will it is revealed in her intense and emotive pictorical gesture.   We are energy that carry on the divine and human fire.

 

The flow of the Universe –  the God’s  stolen gift – it is an anthropomorphic block of electrified colours.  It is the conscious’s flow – unconscious that explodes and becomes a shape:  Bunches of human beings distinguished each one through the pencil’s sketch, but somehow standarized, assimilated through the use of the colour.

 

Of huge format and intense luminosity, her paintings promote and remove intense sensations, updating and going beyond her profession of faith  to the vital energies and the last and trascendent principles of all the humans that is planned and provided from the divine.  The fire, if it came from the Gods, stays among the men.  The more here and the great beyond mixed and interconnected.

 

One of her works «Encounters» that has something of the «sersajes» (landscapes of the being) of Matta – it is on the cover of a book  of the United Nations.

 

Psicologist as a profession, she is overall an enthusiastic creator that sees in the art and at the game fertile possibilities to achieve a complete and free development of each person.  It is as if freedom would be the favourable land to the singularity, a singularity that promises to be beautiful and good because it has something divine.
